Dancing.

Something I have learned, that I have always liked and that I appreciate much that has come to my life is the dance. Competition jazz classes appeared in my life when I entered high school in 2009 and it has been a great way to distract me from studying and other things that happen in my life.

What is interesting about dance is that it opens the way to learn ways to discipline yourself physically, socially and psychologically, to understand how the body works, that there are pauses, moments and continuous movements teaches you responsibility with yourself, and with others, Is playing all this in a group and also teaches you the love that others have for the same to what you give him part of your life. Love for dance is love for oneself, if one loves what one does, (it is extrapolated to other situations that others like to do).

I must mention that this has contributed favorably in my life, because of the aforementioned, because it has made my memory work, it has taken me to meet great people, whom I admire, but who previously found it unreachable and today are my friends.

Although what I most appreciate is that it takes me out of reality for the minute or second hours in which I am doing this that I am so passionate about and releasing.

Someone I admire in my field.

Kengo Kuma. Biogra´fia, Proyectos, Imágenes, Arquitectura

Someone  I admire in my field as a student of architecture and who has served as an example in several works, this will be one more, is the contemporary Japanese Architect Kengo Kuma.

Any relationship of admiration towards him started from a research work that we had to do in the first year in the course of perception that was related to final workshop work of the last semester of the first year.

Kengo Kuma was born in 1954 in Japan, Kanagawa. As an architect, he has been able to combine contemporary Japanese minimalism with simple and pure designs with traditional architecture represented by the use of materials such as wood or stone.

According to him, his goal is to recover space, a space that is given between time and nature, also highlighting the way he uses materials, letting nature in most of his works. Precisely between these and those that I like the most, are:

-Great Bamboo Wall House, Beijing

-Cite des Arts et de la Culture, France.

-glass house

-Starbucks Coffee Omotesando

the truth or to feel good?

In this post the idea is to try to say that is preferred, the truth or feel good ?, is in my opinion a very difficult and philosophical question, because I think nobody thinks the same as another with respect to this but here we go ...

Between feeling good or knowing the truth there are different reasons that can help to try to choose what you want to do. From my opinion the truth would always have to make us feel good, either a good truth or a bad truth, with bad news but in the end that it's reality.

I think that by this I mean that I prefer the truth as sad or difficult to overcome as it sometimes is, but that is the idea to overcome it in case it is not what we expect. I consider myself a more rational person than anything.

For example in the case that a family member is sick or something like that I find that it is better to be aware of that in order to be able to find a solution and end up feeling all well for what is done.

A post-graduate course I like or might do

For students like us it is necessary to think about if you want to continue studying after finish your career, after of the graduation. One possibility is to take postgraduate courses in the same faculty where we study or in another to specialize in any area . The question in this case is about what theme choose for this.

So, for my part I would like very much to have the option to take some course that will be emphasized in the graphic representation in architecture. Less representation in computer and more representation by hand. I think  that this discipline it will be lost in the time. So it would seem correct to take a course like this, to be able to leave legacy of what was once the architectural representation before the legacy of so much technology in the world and the adaptation that has to be before it.

Preferably it would have to be a face-to-face course, face to face between student and teacher since the information, the corrections (common in architecture) would be made at the moment.

The idea would be a course that requires basic materials for architectural drawing, rules, compas, different pencils for different thicknesses of lines and such things and obviously with great desire to preserve this for my account as a tradition within this career.
